How to use the Form Settings window

The Form Settings window is used to specify settings on forms. The window differs slightly between advanced forms and basic forms. The Form Settings window for advanced forms is used to manage versions and form changes, set default report and formatting options, copy form submissions, create data maps, set deep links, validate forms and create form actions. The Form Settings window for basic forms is used to manage version and form changes, manage attachments, copy form submissions, create data maps, and set deep links. 

  1. Click  (Form Settings) on the toolbar to open the Form Settings window.
  2. Select the tab for the settings you want to apply to the form. Tabs include GeneralReports (advanced forms only), Headers (advanced forms only), Labels (advanced forms only), Tables (advanced forms only), Attachments (basic forms only) Copy FormData MapsDeep Links, Form Validations (advanced forms only) and Form Actions (advanced forms only).
  3. Click OK to close the Form Settings window and view your settings on the form. You should also click Save to save these settings on your form.
