How to use the Form Templates tab
The Form Templates tab allows you to create reusable templates based on the custom styles you've defined. This ensures a consistent look and feel across all your forms without the need to style each field individually.
Templates are built using the styles you've configured in the following tabs:
When you first access the Form Templates tab, a default template is automatically created using the system’s default styles for headings, tables, and input fields.
Note: You don't need to assign a style to every area of a template—only where it makes sense for your design.
Only one template can be applied to a form at a time. Any changes made to styles or templates are automatically reflected in the form. Templates are assigned to a form using the Form Settings window.
As you make changes, the Template Style Preview on the right-side updates in real time, letting you see how the form template will appear as you design it, making it easier to refine the layout and style.
Form templates help ensure a consistent and professional appearance across all your forms.
- From the Configuration menu, click Visual Settings to open the Themes, Styles, and Templates page.
- Click Templates to open the Form Templates tab.
- Click + New Template to create a new form template.
- In the Template Name field, enter a name for the form template.
- Select the logo style to include on the form template.
If you'd like individual forms to use their own logos instead of the one set in the template, toggle Allow form-level logo uploads.
If you remove a logo from a template and an alternate logo is available, any forms using that template will automatically display the alternate logo in its place.
- Select the heading, input and table styles you want to include on your form template.
- Click Save to save your form template.
- If you no longer use a template, it can be deleted. If you delete a template it is removed from the forms that are assigned that template.
