Adding an Embedded Image to a Form

How to add an embedded image to a form

Use an embedded image to display an image directly on a form in the mobile app, rather than relying on an image captured or uploaded from a user’s device. Embedded images are ideal for instructional content or visual examples and are visible to all users assigned to the form. In the app, users can tap the image to open it in a separate window and zoom in or out for easier viewing.

  1. From the Formatting menu in the Form Designer, click Embedded Image.
  2. The Embedded Image input is added to the form.
  3. Click on it to view the Embedded Image input slider.
  4. In the Label field, enter a label for the embedded image.
  5. Select the column span size for the auto-incrementing number.
  6. Expand Input Options. Click Upload Image. Browse to the image, then click Open. The image appears in the window.
  7. Expand Style to specify the style settings for the embedded image. See Applying Styles to an Input for more information.
  8. Click (Preview) to view how the embedded image will look in the app.
  9. Save your entries.
  10. To remove an embedded image from a form, see Deleting an Embedded Image.
