Making a Field Required Depending on Answer

You may have a field on a form that is required only in certain conditions but the field is not in a table, so you can't make it required in the table cell. To specify a field as required when answered accordingly, complete the following steps:

1. In the Form Designer, use the input slider to mark the field as required (in this example, the field is a long text field).
   
2. Add a Conditional Field input to the form and drag the field into the Visible when box.
   
3. Click on "Visible when" to open the Conditional Field slider.
   
4. Click (Edit Connection) to create the conditional rule.
5. Mark Or under the "Field will be shown when:" prompt and create the condition.
   
6. Click on "Visible when" then click (Copy) on the input slider to copy the conditional field.
7. Click on the field in the copied conditional field and untoggle the Required field.
8. Click on the copied "Visible when", open the input slider for the Conditional Field. Change the Operator field to is not equal to and keep the value as Yes.
   
9. Click OK.
10. In the app, when you answer Yes, the field is required:
