How to use the IFS Apps 10 connection type
in order for your form application can communicate with a IFS Apps 10, you'll need to create a data connection using the IFS Apps 10 connection type. This allows your forms to securely send and receive data—such as work orders, customer records, or inventory details—directly from your IFS environment.
- From the Configuration menu on the left, select Data Connections.

- Click + Connection to open the Connection window.

- Enter a connection name and description for the IFS Apps 10 connection. This helps you identify the data connection if you connect to more than one database.
- Select IFS Apps 10 as the connection type.

Enter the username and password for your IFS service account. This is a dedicated account that you (or your administrator) have set up and configured within the IFS system specifically for this connection. Make sure the service account has the necessary permissions for the tasks your form or integration needs to perform.
- Enter the base URL, which is the root address or starting point for a web request in a URL structure. It serves as the foundation from which all specific endpoints are built.
- Click Save when you've completed your changes.
