How to use MFA
To better protect your account and personal data, FormsPro/Advanced Forms uses Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) when you log in. This means you'll need something you know (your username and password) and something you have (a temporary code from an app on your phone) to access your account.
MFA adds an extra layer of security by requiring a one-time password (OTP) in addition to your usual login credentials. This helps ensure that only you can access your account—even if someone else gets your password.
FormsPro/Advanced Forms uses a system called Time-Based One-Time Passwords (TOTP). This is a type of code that changes every 30 seconds and is based on the current time. It ensures your login code is always unique and valid only for a short period.
To use MFA with FormsPro/Advanced Forms, you must install an authenticator app on your smartphone or tablet. Supported apps include:
These apps generate the time-based one-time codes you’ll use to log in.
To install MFA:

Install an authenticator app.
Download and install Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator on your mobile device from the app store. -
Link your app to FormsPro/Advanced Forms.
When MFA is enabled on your account, you’ll receive a QR code or an email link.-
If you receive a QR code:
Open the authenticator app and scan the QR code to add your FormsPro/Advanced Forms account. -
If you receive a link:
Click the link on your mobile device to automatically add your account to the app.

Get your code.
Once your account is set up in the app, it will display a 6-digit code that refreshes every 30 seconds.
To log in:

Open the FormsPro/Advanced Forms login page.

Enter your username and password as usual.

When prompted, open your authenticator app and enter the 6-digit code shown on your screen.
You’ll now be logged in securely.
