Using Notifications for Workflow

How to notify users a form has entered their workflow

You may have FormsPro users who are not primary users. Unlike technicians, these users can miss a notification that a form needs to be approved because their duties are elsewhere and may not have FormsPro open on their devices. Workflow options on the Device Settings tab of the Security Settings page allow you to specify how you want to notify users when a form has entered their workflow.

The Pop-Up Notification in App option is the default when the latest version is installed or updated for backward compatibility to maintain existing functionality.  When this option is marked a pop-up notification is sent in the FormsPro app.  The Send Email Notification option sends an email to the user who receives the form in the workflow. The text in the email notification is the same as it is for the pop-up notification.
