Understanding Hosting Options

How to understand the FormsPro hosting options

Choosing the right hosting strategy is an important step in ensuring performance, security, and scalability. The following is an overview of the available hosting options so you can determine which model best fits your organization’s needs.

Partner Hosting

With partner hosting, FormsPro is hosted directly within your implementation partner’s infrastructure.

How it works:

  • Your certified implementation partner provisions the required infrastructure.

  • They install and configure FormsPro.

  • They create and manage support/consulting user access and credentials.

  • Ongoing hosting is managed within the partner’s environment.

This option is ideal if you prefer a fully managed experience through your trusted implementation partner.

OmniByte Hosting (Azure)

With OmniByte hosting, FormsPro is delivered through OmniByte’s secure Microsoft Azure environment.

How it works:

  • OmniByte provisions the Azure-based infrastructure.

  • FormsPro is installed and configured by OmniByte.

  • A dedicated Support/Consulting User and password are provided.

  • Hosting is managed within OmniByte’s Azure services environment.

This option provides the reliability and scalability of Azure without requiring you to manage the cloud infrastructure yourself.

On-Premises Hosting

With on-premises hosting, FormsPro is installed within your organization’s own infrastructure.

How it works:

  • Your organization provisions the necessary hardware and environment.

  • FormsPro installation can be completed by:

    • Your internal team

    • A certified partner

    • OmniByte

If a partner or OmniByte performs the installation, standard billing terms and appropriate environment access will apply.

This option is best for organizations that require full control over their infrastructure or have strict internal IT policies.

Your ideal hosting strategy depends on factors such as:

  • Internal IT capabilities

  • Security and compliance requirements

  • Preference for managed services vs. direct control

  • Budget and long-term scalability goals

If you’re unsure which option is right for your organization, your implementation partner or OmniByte consultant can help guide you through the decision.
