      Recycling an Application Pool in IIS

      How to recycle an Application Pool in Internet Information Systems (IIS)

      You may need to recycle an application pool in IIS for better memory management, improved performance, enhanced stability, and effective troubleshooting. Follow these steps to recycle an application pool:

      1. Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager. 

      2. In the left-hand panel, expand the server node and then click Application Pools.

      3. In the middle panel, find the Application Pool that you want to recycle.

      4. Right-click on the applicable Application Pool and select Recycle. This immediately recycles the application pool, which restarts the worker process for the pool, clearing any memory and resolving issues.
