FormsPro & Advanced Forms 2506.5 Maintenance Release Notes

The following provides details on enhancements and fixes since the 2506.5 major release, with the most recent listed first. Releases are always cumulative. Update your apps and admin site, as applicable, to ensure the best user experience.

2506.5.6 Admin Only - Release Date: October 14, 2025

  • Resolved an issue where some tables on a form would show an error if the first column wasn't a number and the first row in the main table didn’t have any related sub-table data. (31345)

  • Addressed a case-sensitivity issue with the @user variable in data sets, which caused them to not populate in the app. This affected data sets built in IFS Cloud. (31284)

  • Resolved an issue where sections were duplicating on forms. (31178)

  • Fixed an issue where field options were not displaying when using a condition on a dynamic table iterator with an IFS Cloud form action. (31231)

  • Resolved an issue where form actions were not appearing when creating a new form version. (31242)

  • Fixed an issue where conditional steps in a workflow were not being saved. (31162)

  • Resolved an issue where data map changes were not updated when deploying a new versioned form. (31241)

  • Fixed an issue where workflows with unmet conditional steps were not being submitted. (31248)

  • Resolved an issue where the Form_Mapping_ID used the same GUID across multiple versions in the Data Map database table. (31261)

  • Removed the "Toggle" label from toggle inputs in a table. (31123)

  • Fixed an issue where changing a summary row in a dynamic table prevented the form from loading. (30932)

  • Resolved an issue where the maximum item input could not be restricted on a Media input. (31128)

  • Resolved an issue where forms with required fields inside conditional fields in repeatable groups generated an error. (31180)

  • Fixed an issue where data sets from previous versions of forms were being synced. (31147)

  • Resolved an issue where closing the window after saving a form version would result in being logged out of the application. (31152)

2506.5.4 Admin and App - Release Date: September 11, 2025

  • Fixed an issue where a data set in a repeatable group was not deploying. (30894)

  • Fixed an issue where long text fields were not fully displayed in dynamic tables. (30917)
  • Addressed a problem where form actions did not run correctly when multiple repeatable groups were present. (30947)
  • Resolved an issue that caused some submitted forms to also be saved locally on the device. After updating the app, users should check the Saved/received forms folder and delete those that have been submitted successfully. Do not resubmit the saved forms. Users may need to verify with their administrators which forms were submitted successfully. (30954)
  • Fixed an issue where enabling the Use Default Value toggle, then disabling it, it was not being saved properly. (30935)
  • Resolved an issue where a conditional step in a form action ran regardless of the specified condition. (30945)
  • Fixed an issue that caused errors when running a form action. (30956)
  • Addressed a problem where form actions were only saving on version 1 of a form. (30936)
  • Resolved an issue where a section containing a dynamic table and a sub-table with a summary row, failed to populate. (30854)
  • Addressed an issue where the label, "Toggle" was displayed in a table, when no label should have been displayed. (30888).
  • Resolved an issue where data maps were not being populated from the selected form version. (31157).
  • Fixed an issue where a report was only being associated with version 1 of a form. (31160)

2506.5.3 Admin and App - Release Date: August 20, 2025

  • Fixed an issue where SSO users couldn't use the View/Edit Submissions page and Preview window. (30685)

  • Resolved an issue when opening a data set lookup via a deep link, the lookup was blank. (30405)
  • Resolved an issue where the Data Map Log was missing the data map steps. (30908)
  • Fixed an issue when updating a calculated field, the calculation was not updated. (30704 and 30720)
  • Updated the Attach Media URL for an IFS Apps 10 data map to resolve an error. (30872)
  • Resolved an issue where a form could not be deployed. (30887)
  • Fixed an issue where a basic form's attachment settings were being used on all forms. (30889)

2506.5.2 Enhancements - Release Date: August 4, 2025

  • The Offline Submissions window is now labeled Pending Submissions in the app for better clarity. Failed submissions will now retry automatically. Note that data maps are processed after the form is received by the server. The device waits for a successful connection before sending the data. 
  • Workflow performance has been optimized for scenarios involving a large number of forms and data. Embedded images are now displayed as clickable thumbnails to reduce loading time; click the thumbnail to view the full image. Form details are now downloaded on demand—only when a specific form is opened—improving overall speed and responsiveness.

  • When syncing the app, you’ll now see a list of each item being synced. Successful items are marked with a green checkmark, while issues are flagged with a red exclamation point. This makes it easier to track progress and identify any items taking longer than expected.

  • Fixed an issue where only the first data map executed successfully; subsequent data maps would fail. (29899)

  • Resolved an issue where stored procedure form actions did not display input or output parameters. (30624)

  • Fixed an issue where copying a form with a Form Action button broke the form definition. (29532)

  • Addressed an issue where field validations failed when copying a form submission in the app. (28191)

  • Fixed an issue where sections on a form were incorrectly repeated. (30608)

  • Resolved an issue that caused field positions on a basic form in the app to shift unexpectedly. (30613)
  • Fixed an issue where submitting a basic form failed to attach the report to the email. (30614)

  • Resolved a dataset issue where the second field in a static table was not being populated. (30626)

  • Fixed an error that occurred when reviewing a form in a workflow. (28890)

  • Fixed a web app issue with the Gallery button not working on a basic form. (27806)
