Deleting a Data Connection

How to delete a data connection

There may be situations where you no longer need a data connection. For example:

  • The business process has changed.

  • The connected data source is no longer in use.

  • Compliance or security policies require its removal.

  • The connection was created for testing or temporary use.

To delete a data connection, use the Data Connections page. From there, you can select and remove the connection that’s no longer needed.

Note: Deleting a data connection is permanent and may impact forms or processes that rely on it. Be sure it's no longer in use before removing it.

  1. From the Configuration menu, click Data Connections to open the Data Connections page.
  2. Click next to the data connection you want to delete, then select Remove.
  3. A confirm window will appear confirming you want to delete the data connection.
