How data is hosted

If customers use OmniByte’s hosting services, Microsoft Azure is utilized as the cloud platform for building, testing, deploying, and managing applications through Microsoft-managed data centers.

Customers must select primary and secondary Azure data centers that are closest to their main location. These data centers must also support Front Door private endpoints.

As usage increases, Azure provides multiple scalability options:

  • App Services support both horizontal (scale-out) and vertical (scale-up) scaling.

  • SQL databases can be scaled up by increasing Database Transaction Units (DTU)s, and serverless options are available for larger or variable workloads.

  • Dynamic resource adjustments to Virtual Core (vCore) and RAM ensure performance scales appropriately with demand.
