Adding Repeatable Group Conditional Fields to a Sub-Report

When you try to add a repeatable group conditional field to a sub-report, you may encounter the error:

“You can't add a sub-report component to itself.”

If you run into this error, you can use the following workaround to add the field to the report.

1. Open the Report Designer for the form with the issue.

2. Click (Fields List) icon.

3. Expand Form Answers.

4. Select the field you want and drag it onto the report.

5. Save the report, then close the Report Designer.

6. Save the form. 

    The field should now appear and print correctly on the report.
