Using number fields
In release 2305.4 you can leave number fields blank. They will no longer default to zero unless you intentionally specify zero as a default in the Edit Number window. You can also delete a number that’s been entered and leave it blank.
A new Replace Blank Field with 0 in Calculation option has been added in the Edit Calculation window so that in complex calculations any number field in the calculation will use a zero in place of the blank to complete the transaction. For simple calculation, you can decide whether using a zero makes a difference in the result and choose to use it or not.
