Using the IFS FSM Connection Type

How to use the IFS FSM connection type

Complete the following to establish a connection between the form application and IFS FSM.

1. From the Configuration menu on the left, select Data Connections.
2. Click (Add Connection) to open the Connection window. 
   
3. Enter a connection name and description for the IFS FSM connection. This helps you identify the data connection if you connect to more than one database.
4. Select IFS FSM as the connection type.
5. Enter a username and password for IFS FSM.
6. In the IFS FSM XML Poster URL, enter the URL for the connection. This is a URL endpoint to allow the system to send data in XML format to IFS FSM.
7. Click Test Connection to ensure your settings are correct. 
8. Click Save when you've completed your changes.
