How to use Expression Editor
The FormsPro Report Designer uses an expression editor so you can create and edit expressions. Any properties that have an f button in the Properties panel supports expressions.
FormsPro Report Designer uses DevExpress tools to create reports. For detailed information about DevExpress, see DevExpress Documentation.
To open the Expression Editor, click a report, band or control, then click the f next to it. If the property displays an ellipsis button, you can also click it to open the Expression Editor. Click on one of the listed properties to specify an expression.
If there is an issue with an expression, the Expression Editor indicates an error with a red X on the line of the error. Hover over the X and details of the issue are displayed.
