How to use the Email Setup tab

The Email Setup page is used to send emails from the app to clients and to the back office.

  1. From the menu on the left, select System Settings, then Email Setup.
  2. Enter an email address for the user that connects to the SMTP server and send emails as the username.
  3. Enter an SMTP server name.
  4. Enter a password used to connect to the SMTP server.
  5. Enter the port number used by the SMTP server.
  6. Enter an email address that is used as the sender (From Email field) when sending an email from TechPro.
  7. Enter an email address for the user who should receive any error emails.
  8. Toggle the Enable SSL option on if the SMTP server uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).
  9. Click Save to save your entries.
  10. Enter an email address in the Test Email Address field to send a test email to check your settings.
  11. Click Test to send the test email.
