Using the Asterisk on the App

How to use the Asterisk ion the app

The (Asterisk button) on the app is used to filter the form view to show only incomplete, required fields.

For example, you may have multiple forms that list similar tasks. A technician ticks through the different tasks and may be recording additional information and need to see what they have left to complete on a form. 

If you attempt to submit a form with missing required fields, you will receive a notification: 

To view the incomplete required fields:

  1. Click the asterisk at the top of the app to display the incomplete required fields that remain on the form. The asterisk has a shaded circle around it when the form displays the incomplete required fields.
  2. Complete the fields, then submit the form.
