How to use real-time alerts
Real-time alerts are messages or visual cues that appear instantly while you're working—no need to refresh or leave the page. They let you know right away if something needs your attention, like an incomplete setup or a missing input, so you can fix it on the spot.
For example, if you start setting up a field condition, validation, or event but don’t finish it, a real-time alert will appear on that input to let you know it's incomplete.
Let’s say you're creating a validation for a Total Hours field on a timesheet—if the total exceeds 40 hours, it should require supervisor approval. If you forget to add the validation message, a the field is flagged to indicate an issue:

Once you resolve the issue, the alert will automatically disappear.
