How to use link buttons

Link buttons in the General (for appointment lists), Equipment and Parts field designer areas are used to navigate to common URLs needed by technicians and/or to use APIs to further expand the capabilities in TechPro. For example, you could use a link button to link technicians directly to the location where service call files are stored. Or the link button could be used to open a SharePoint folder that contains the equipment IDs on work orders.
Data connections must be set up to use this functionality (not applicable for URL link types). Data that is passed using the connection is all unposted or prior to processing in Signature and is in the state it’s in at the time of the link. Also, no verifications occur that TechPro information has been used for any links or mapping. Therefore, if data is passed to another application, then subsequently edited, or deleted in TechPro, no further action takes place in TechPro.
