Working Offline with IFS Mobile Work Order (MWO)

How to use IFS Mobile Work Order when working offline

If you are going to work offline, perform a sync on your device before you go offline. Everything on the device is cached, as the app would then be working on the device locally and saving locally to the device. When you get to an area that you have service again, sync and the app is available to send the form and data back to IFS.

While offline, the deep link opens the app and uses the data saved in the device's storage.  If you do not have the data stored locally in the storage for the work order that was opened from MWO, no data is displayed, and the form is blank.  If there is data on the device from a previous sync, it displays in the form.

If there are real time events set up on the form, they do not work while offline.  The real time events make a call to the server at the time the event is triggered.  Those events can be set up on a button click or when a field value is changed.
