How to display a form description on a child form
The form description from a parent form can automatically populate the form description on a linked child form if the fields are mapped on both forms. If using default values, they will not populate on the linked child form until you open the child form and save it.
For example, the current date is displayed as the form description on a parent form, and you want it to display on the child form's form description as well.
Click 
to open the Link Child Form window and map the parent and child fields.
Open the child form to ensure the Form Description field contains the mapped field(s):
When the parent form is submitted the child form appears in the Saved/received forms list in the app. Notice the current date information from the parent form is populated on the child form:
