How to create a tooltip

Tips/hints can be added on each input, which will appear in the app to assist users completing forms. For example, you might require supporting evidence about an incident or accident. Add a tooltip with information about what the attachment should include. Or, add a reminder like, “Be sure your photo is focused.” Tooltips are intended to be very short descriptions or tips to remind users what to do.

To add a tooltip to an input, complete the following:

1. Click (Edit) for the input (in this example, a Media input is being used).
   
2. In the Tooltip field, enter the tip/hint you want to include for the input.
3. Click OK to save the tooltip and close the Edit Media window.
4. In the app, the tooltip icon is displayed next to the input's label. Click on the icon to display the tooltip.
