How to set the default timeout period for all devices

The Device Settings tab on the Security page allows you to set a default timeout period for all devices. Timeout periods can be specified from 30 seconds to 3 minutes, in 30 second increments. Technicians can change the default on each of their devices using the Settings page in the app.

  1. From the Configuration menu, click Security Settings to open the Security page. Click the Device Settings tab.
  2. From the Server Sync Timeout Period list, select the default timeout period for all devices: 30 Seconds, 1 Minute, 1.5 Minutes, 2 Minutes, 2.5 Minutes or 3 Minutes.
  3. Click Save to save your settings.
