Preventing a Page Break in a Sub-report

Using the Keep Together function

You may have long tables on a form that when printed on a report prints across two pages. To prevent this use the "Keep Together" function.
  1. In the Report Designer, double-click on the sub-report.
  2. Click on the GroupHeaderBand.
  3. From the Properties menu on the right-hand side, expand the Group Header Tasks property and the Group Fields property.
  4. From the Group Union list, select Whole Page. Then mark the Keep Together checkbox.
  5. Click on DetailSubBand.
  6. From the Properties on the right-hand side, expand Detail Tasks.
  7. Mark the Keep Together checkbox.
  8. Save your changes.
