      Enable Multiple Selection in a Data Set

      How to use the Enable Multiple Selection option in a data set

      You can select more than one option when using a data set with a type of Lookup or Select. For example, you may have technicians that need to select the PPE items used on an inspection. 

      Note: The Enable Multiple Selection option only applies to data sets that are in a table.

      To allow for multi-select lookup or select options, complete the following:

      1. Create the data set.
      2. Click (edit icon) next to the data set to open the Format Data Set Data window.
      3. Mark Enable Multiple Selection for a Lookup or Select type.
      4. Click OK to save your entries.
      5. Open your form and add a dynamic table to the form.
      6. Click the Data Settings tab and select the data set to add to the dynamic table.
      7. Save the form.
