How to map a form field to a section field
Use the Edit Section window to map a form field to a section field so that it can be used to populate data within the section. This eliminates issues you may have if you need to populate a field with data that is not part of the section. For example, let's say you have a section on a form that is shown conditionally. By providing a map from the form field to a section field, the entry from the form field populates the section field and can be used to fill any tables within the section with data sets that use the section field information.
You may still need to duplicate the field in the section because the data may be needed to populate a data set or show a condition. We recommend you hide the duplicate field in the section so that it doesn’t appear twice on the form.
