Understanding the differences between licensed and unlicensed users
A license grants access to FormsPro via user assignment. You can have more licenses than users, but you cannot have more licensed users than licenses.
If a user is marked as Licensed, then you need to specify if the user is Active or Inactive. Active users are normal active licensed FormsPro users. Inactive users still count as licensed users, but also block the user from logging in.
You may have users who are seasonal or contracted employees that don't always need to be licensed FormsPro users, so you could mark these users as Unlicensed. Unlicensed users do not count towards the licensed user count and blocks login. This information is also used when a group of AD users is added. For example, you have 200 licenses and 30 already exist in the system. You sync 200. The last 30 of those are unlicensed since you cannot go over 200 licenses.
