How to handle task statuses that are not marked complete in the app

The Task Status for Completing Work Orders option on the Tasks tab in the TechPro Admin site is for handling the task status for tasks that are not marked complete in the app. TechPro has a checkbox resulting in marked or unmarked, and Signature has multiple options, we needed a way for companies using TechPro to "tell" Signature which task status equals unmarked. That’s what this option does. When you are done with a call (last tech, only one tech) what do you want the task status to be in Signature? Keep in mind, that the additional checkout check for incomplete tasks may help with fewer of these opportunities. Any task left unmarked at checkout will show this task status in Signature.


We update the completion date on tasks for statuses except on NO CHANGE. It really treats it more like that box was untouched, and displays OPEN as the task status since that’s the “starting” status. Here are some results from testing (see illustration below). I have 3 calls, each with 2 tasks and I marked the first complete, left the second untouched, and checked out (the option for checking for incomplete tasks is off). The first/top example has the Task Setting for Completing Work Orders in Admin at NO CHANGE. The second is set to SKIPPED, and the third is set to COMPLETE.  OPEN and SKIPPED work similarly, updating the completion date with the appt/call completion date and changing the status to match.
