How to fix an error about a valid labor rates does not exist
If you receive an unhandled exception error that a valid labor rate does not exist for the position/pay code combination, complete the following steps:
- Execute a query to find the table information for the transaction.
- From the Service Manager window (Cards > Service Management > Service Manager) bring up the customer and location on the transaction.
- Click on Location Address ID to open the Location window.
- Click Labor Rate Group to open the Labor Rate Detail window.
- Look at the positions and pay codes in this window to verify there is a labor rate for the position/pay code combination for the labor rate group assigned to the customer location.
