Error about Valid Labor Rates

How to fix an error about a valid labor rates does not exist

If you receive an unhandled exception error that a valid labor rate does not exist for the position/pay code combination, complete the following steps:

  1. Execute a query to find the table information for the transaction.
  2. From the Service Manager window (Cards > Service Management > Service Manager) bring up the customer and location on the transaction.
  3. Click on Location Address ID to open the Location window. 
  4. Click Labor Rate Group to  open the Labor Rate Detail window. 
  5. Look at the positions and pay codes in this window to verify there is a labor rate for the position/pay code combination for the labor rate group assigned to the customer location.
